About Frank Fender

As a husband, father of two teen boys, a 30-year South Floridian, and 18-year resident of Sewall’s Point, I’m committed to preserving our special community by the sea.  Sewall’s Point is a unique place for so many reasons.  My family has made it our home and we have chosen to raise our sons here. Preserving our financial and ecological resources to continue to build a safe neighborhood with a strong sense of community for all of us is my highest priority.  Let’s work together to make Sewall’s Point even better.

My family is actively involved in many community events. My wife, Sally, is the Head of School at Bridges Montessori and supports many educational initiatives for local kids. For the past eight years I have been very involved in the Treasure Coast running community and personally headed the organization to establish a Boston-Qualifying full marathon event here as the Marathon of the Treasure Coast. We have raised nearly $200,000 for more than a dozen local charities, involved local business, developed local leaders, and attracted healthy upwardly-mobile tourists to visit Martin County from 40 states and 15 countries. My sons Anton and Brayden are both products of the IB program at South Fork High School.  Anton just graduated and is studying at the Cal Poly Architecture College.  Brayden is in the 11th grade and running on the cross-country team.

I hold an MBA from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering from Arizona State University.  It’s time for fresh new ideas, energy, and a strong sense for business on the Sewall’s Point commission to help us work through the many upcoming issues to preserve our river and enhance our infrastructure.  I am committed to preserving our special community by the sea.

My door is always open.  Contact me anytime.
