Residents of Sewall’s Point have benefited from local self-governance and home rule since 1957. Being in control of our own financial stewardship has allowed us to control expenses and keep our property taxes lower than our local neighbors. I have been laser-focused on this statistic during my 8 years on the Commission and worked hard to maintain the low millage rates our residents enjoy. It is my continued goal to keep our millage rate the lowest in our County while protecting our property values with a strong police force, resilient infrastructure, and the protection of the aesthetic beauty on our wonderful peninsula.
